In this talk, I will give introduction about soil microbial distribution in different Chinese ecosystems including Tibetan Plateau, Mountain forest, wheat field and coastal wetland. We have investigated not only the distribution pattern and driving factors, but also the community assembly and co-occurrence network of soil microbes, and the relationships between soil microbes and plants. In addition, I will introduce a global microbial survey about the relationship between soil biodiversity and ecosystem functions in urban greenspaces, which is a collaboration with scientists from other countries.
