I am an ecologist and discipline-based education researcher (DBER) trained in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. As a doctoral student at CSU, I study how individual’s worldviews shape their perceptions of natural resource management. My other research interests include science communication and human-environment interactions, especially in the context of natural areas.
I have 6 years of formal and informal education experience in the fields of ecology and biology, including serving as the instructor of record at two Illinois institutions.
