I'm a Professor in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems at Northern Arizona University, with affiliations in the Center for Ecosystem Science and Society and the Department of Biological Sciences. I am a plant and ecosystem ecologist that combines statistical modeling, field studies, and diverse data to understand how plants and ecosystems function. I am also the Program Director for the NSF-NRT funded graduate program in ecological and environmental informatics at NAU.
