Ecology Intern
Central Alaska Network, National Park Service
My name is Chandler Sendek, and I am an early career ecologist hoping to return to academia to pursue ecological research as a graduate student. I am primarily interested in aquatic ecosystems with a goal of conservation. I am currently working for Colorado Parks and Wildlife in the Aquatic Invasive Species program as a Sampling and Monitoring Crew Lead. I have a B.S. in Environmental Science from Slippery Rock University. I have worked a variety of seasonal positions including ecological field work, data analysis, and environmental stewardship through the private and public sectors. My previous experience includes two AmeriCorps terms, work with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks.
