I am the Director of Conservation Research at the Institute for Applied Ecology. We are an NGO based in Corvallis, Oregon. Our mission is to conserve species and habitats through research, restoration, and ecological education. Our research program assesses the status or rare plants and animals to include survey and monitoring, species distribution modeling, demographic studies, and reintroduction efficacy. We also conduct research on best practices for restoration.
