Gabriela Benito is an alumna of the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2019. Prior to living in Hawaii Gabriela worked as a field and laboratory technician on various projects in her home state of Nevada. Her scientific interests include conservation, invasive species, soil science, aquatic and terrestrial ecology.
