Long Term Ecological Research Network/Environmental Data Initiative

The Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network links 27 NSF-funded programs pursuing foundational questions about how ecosystems function through sustained observation, experiments, modeling, and synthesis.

The Environmental Data Initiative (EDI) assists researchers from field stations, individual laboratories, and research projects of all sizes to archive and publish their environmental data.
