Chenyang is a graduate student in the Ecology, Evolution, Environment and Society program at Dartmouth College studying agroecology. She is interested in the spatial population and community dynamics of “unplanned organisms” (weeds, pests and other insects) in and around agriculture and these organisms’ roles in the landscape. She currently works in a variety of agro-ecosystems in different contexts, such as urban gardens and rice fields.
