Colombian biogeographer. I grew up in the Equatorial Andes and moved to UT in 2018. I have a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Ecology. Currently, currently I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Geography department. My specialties are biological collections, palaeoecology, paleolimnology of maar lakes, historical biogeography, and education. I am passionate about human-nature relationships.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, dancing, photography, and gardening.
