Join Shane Hanlon, Executive Producer and co-host of Third Pod from the Sun in this workshop to learn from firsthand experience about what it takes to start a podcast and tell effective (and entertaining) audio stories! From basics to brushing up on your podcasting knowledge, this workshop will cover planning, motivation, audience, scope, tech, editing, and more!

Pre-production – create a strategy and ask the questions:
Who is your audience?
What are your goals?
What does success look like?
Production – record audio, including interview and b-roll
Post-production – light editing via open-source software
